Durston Double D2 130 Rolling Mills

The Durston Double D2 Rolling Mill is a dual-function mill featuring two separate sets of rolls: one dedicated to flat rolling with side extension rollers including four half-round profiles, and the other grooved specifically for square wire rolling. This design provides maximum versatility for professional jewelry making and metalworking.

Gear ratios offer a 7:1 load reduction for flat rolling and 3.5:1 for wire rolling, ensuring smooth manual operation with minimal effort. The extra-wide flat rolling area spans a full 130mm, while the precision grooved rollers provide 19 square wire grooves ranging from 10mm down to 1mm, accommodating a wide range of wire sizes.

Side extensions include four half-round grooves in 4mm, 3mm, 2mm, and 1.5mm, adding flexibility for shaping half-round wires. The Double D2 is Durston’s first rolling mill to incorporate roller bearings for enhanced durability and smoother operation. For user safety, all gearing is encased in a plastic housing, and large, easy-to-read calibrated discs and guide plates ensure safe and precise operation throughout the mill’s long service life.
