Durston Soldering Boards for professional jewellers. This lightweight block offers an ideal surface for all jewellery soldering tasks. Made from highly insulating and heat reflective vermiculite, the block offers temperature resistance up to 2,012 degrees Fahrenheit or 1,100 degrees Celsius and stands up to direct flame without damage. This material contains no ceramic or asbestos; it does not create dust and is odourless and non-irritating. Though strong and light in weight, the material is easy to cut and shape using ordinary tools. This soldering block is 140mm by 70mm by 30mm.
