Durston's Stepped Mandrels with a tang are crafted from tool-grade steel, hardened to 64 RC, and ground and polished to a perfect finish. These round, stepped mandrels measure 210mm to the start of the tang, with the tang itself adding an extra 60mm. The stepped design allows for forming bracelets and bangles at diameters of 51mm, 57mm, 64mm, and 70mm. The tang feature enables the mandrel to be securely clamped in a vice for extra grip and stability during work, making these mandrels ideal for precise and stable shaping in professional jewellery workshops.
