His technical journey began with foundational training in goldsmithing and stone setting, leading him to pursue advanced studies across three continents. A graduate of the Alexandre Diamond Optical Setting School in Belgium, he also completed GRS engraving training in the United States and holds an advanced diploma in Goldsmithing & Silversmithing from Canada’s Georgian College. He specializes in pneumatic stone setting, using precision air-powered tools to achieve exceptionally refined and seamless finishes that enhance both gemstone brilliance and overall craftsmanship. Alongside his work as a setter, Reno continues to develop his teaching practice, sharing his expertise with students and artisans in the jewelry industry.
